Fay Oxman Ridley, 84, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998, in Los Angeles. She is now at peace.

She was the great-granddaughter of Joseph and Hannah Oreckovsky, who were among the first European Jews in Duluth in the early 1880s. She was the daughter of William and Mary Oreckovsky Oxman and the widow of Bert Ridley.

She is survived by and dearly cherished by her son, Len Traubman, D.D.S., of San Mateo, Calif.; and a daughter-in-law, Libby; a stepdaughter, Marcia (Hugh) Carman; grandchildren Eleanor and Adam (Raychel) Traubman; a great-grandson, Niko Traubman; loving brothers Ralph, Jerome and David Oxman; and her beloved sister and angel, Rene Oxman.
